EIKO MAEDA

Eiko devotes her life to exploring a ceramic technique called nerikomi, a traditional Japanese method of creating exquisite fine pottery. She strives to express the elegance, feminine beauty, delicacy and modesty of Japanese culture through her designs.

Under the guidance of Eiji Murofushi, Eiko hopes to generate a public interest and appreciation for the exquisite nerikomi technique here in Canada.
